Baby skyrmion in two-component holographic superfluids

In the two-component Ginzburg-Landau theory of superfluidity, a pair fractional vortices form composite type topological defect, usually referred to as baby skyrmion. this paper, we initiate construction such skyrmion in holographic model superfluids. As result, two types configurations are found, where monopole-type one is constructed directly by solving static equations motion while dipole-type obtained resorting time evolution method. addition, find that existence these depends on inter-component coupling, reminiscent situation model.
